Music in my childhood
I started playing guitar at the age of 7 or 8, when I had my first teacher. I started with acoustic guitar, but I wasn’t really intrigued by it and didn’t practice. Around the age of 12, my dad asked me if I wanted to try out an electric guitar, we went to a store, I played Smoke on the Water for the first time on a real amp and immediately fell in love with the endless sound possibilities the instrument provides.
My love for rock’n’roll
Shortly after picking up the electric guitar, I discovered Metallica and Guns N’ Roses (James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Slash were my first guitar heroes), although I had known music from Iron Maiden, AC/DC and Deep Purple since early childhood without knowing I could actually play their music on guitar. I started playing in a band (Jump from the Belfry) and discovered more and more music, mainly Metal, Rock and Blues at that time.
After school
After finishing school, I joined a band at my local music school (Short Circuit, you can listen to our Song „Fool for You“ on YouTube) and started making music and hanging with other musicians of the local music scene in Wiesbaden. At that time (and also thanks to my dad, who always listens to all kinds of music), I discovered artists like John Mayer, Porcupine Tree and Plini. We went to regular Jam Sessions and soon I wanted to study music.
Studies
In 2018, I started studying at the Popakademie Mannheim, where I continued to make music with fantastic musicians. Studying and the whole atmosphere there inspired me to make and release my own music. In 2022, I released my first three singles, along with three music videos. I also formed a live band to perform my solo program live on stage. This was only the beginning, more songs exist and will be recorded and even more are going to be written, so stay tuned! 🙂
